On July 4 (local time), Zcash core developer Sean Bowe announced that the Zcash Ironwood upgrade is scheduled to take place on the testnet. The Ironwood mainnet upgrade, which will significantly improve the security and processing efficiency of the Zcash mainnet, is expected to occur around July 21. The development team stated that they are simultaneously pushing for the rapid activation of the upgrade and conducting formal verification to completely dispel concerns about supply integrity.
