Layer 1 protocol SAGA announced that it is selling its cryptocurrency business unit and establishing AI Labs to transition into an AI-based consumer platform. Accordingly, the authority to operate and manage the blockchain network will be transferred to Alapin Holding, a subsidiary of dao5. The company stated, "The network and transactions will operate without issues," adding, "There will be no temporary suspension or forking of the chain." SAGA AI Labs plans to focus on developing AI consumer platforms and autonomous digital characters, and expand its business into consumer brands, sports, and other sectors in the future.
