MetaPlanet, a Japanese listed company accumulating Bitcoin, announced that it has purchased an additional 2823 BTC. It currently holds a total of 43,000 BTC. Meanwhile, in the second quarter of this year, its BTC income business generated sales of 1.7473 billion yen (approximately 16.7 billion KRW). Cumulative sales for the first half of the year reached 4.717 billion yen. Although Q2 sales were lower than Q1 (2.9693 billion yen), cumulative sales over the past 12 months reached 11.3964 billion yen, marking the highest since the business began. The Bitcoin income business generates operating profit through BTC-related options trading, and sales reflect option premiums, realized gains/losses, and year-end valuation gains/losses.
