Cryptocurrency prime brokerage firm FalconX recently submitted a confidential draft S-1 registration statement, the first step for an initial public offering (IPO) application, to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), according to CoinDesk. Citing sources familiar with the matter, the publication added, "FalconX has several financial institutions, including Wall Street giant investment firm Cantor, as advisors for its potential IPO. However, FalconX's potential IPO is still a confidential matter, and considering market conditions, the actual IPO is expected in the second half of this year or next year."
