Cointelegraph reported that the price of BTC fell after a large-scale sell-off of approximately $1.3 billion from BlackRock's spot BTC ETF (IBIT). According to the report, an anonymous investor sold 29.2 million shares of IBIT through a dark pool (a system where order details are not disclosed) on the 27th. Alex Thorn, head of research at Galaxy Digital, described it as “the largest dark pool trade we've ever seen.” Immediately after the transaction, BTC fell approximately 1.5% from $77,875 to $76,720 in about 10 minutes, and then extended its decline to around $75,600.
