Former Ethereum (ETH) core developer Eric Connor announced via X that he has significantly reduced his ETH holdings over the past 1-2 years. This was in response to a post by David Hoffman, host of the cryptocurrency podcast platform Bankless, who stated that he had sold all his ETH holdings due to a lack of upward momentum for ETH. Connor said, "ETH has shown severely underperforming performance compared to the overall cryptocurrency market for several years. All assets I incorporated instead of ETH significantly outperformed ETH's returns. However, I don't believe ETH's sluggishness is due to fundamental flaws. As it generated massive wealth during its initial rise, long-term profit-taking pressure continues." He added, "Maximalism for a single asset is foolish. The market doesn't lie."
