U.S. digital asset platform Prometheum asserted that the core challenge in the tokenized securities market is 'distribution,' not 'issuance.' The company stated that it is focusing on building infrastructure to connect tokenized securities to existing financial markets through broker-dealers and RIAs (Registered Investment Advisers). Prometheum co-CEO Aaron Kaplan explained, "The crypto industry has solved tokenization itself, but it hasn't solved the problem of distributing these to the general public." The company recently launched a digital brokerage solution that supports tokenized security and cryptocurrency trading from traditional securities accounts. Through this, Wall Street financial firms plan to provide on-chain asset services within the existing regulatory framework. Prometheum predicts that the securities market will move to an on-chain basis in the future, and the key competitive advantage will be Wall Street's distribution network, not cryptocurrency exchanges.
