According to PeckShield, the hacker of the Verus Ethereum cross-chain bridge has returned 4052.4 ETH ($8.5 million). The hacker transferred the amount to the Verus team's address, which accounts for 75% of the stolen funds. The remaining 25% of the stolen funds, 1350 ETH ($2.8 million), will be kept in the hacker's wallet as a white hat bounty.
