Fortune reported that Catena Labs, a stablecoin financial infrastructure developer, has raised $30 million in Series A funding. Catena Labs, founded by Sean Neville, co-founder of Circle, the world's second-largest stablecoin issuer, is reportedly developing stablecoin-based tools that enable artificial intelligence (AI) agents to conduct secure financial transactions. Meanwhile, Catena Labs' Series A round was reportedly led by a16z crypto and Accrue Capital, with participation from Breyer Capital, General Catalyst, QED, and others.
