Cointelegraph reported that cryptocurrency exchange Gemini's first-quarter revenue this year recorded $50.3 million, a 42% increase compared to the previous year. This is believed to be due to the rapid expansion of its credit card-centric financial services sector. Transaction fee revenue remained stable at $24 million, but exchange sector revenue decreased by 27% year-on-year, recording $17.2 million. The company explained, “This reflects a decrease in spot trading activity and a slowdown in market trading volume.”
